1 - Where does the money come from for my gift?
For introducing you to a new product or service the 'advertiser' (eg. Love Film) will reward the freebie site with money. For each person you refer the freebie site earns enough money to buy your gift for you. The advertiser therefore gains a new customer, the freebie site earns a little profit and you get your brand new shiny gift!

2 - How much will it cost me?
There are free offers available such as the Love Film trial offer and various credit card applications (where you need to sign up and get accepted). Offers such as Coral or Gala Bingo only cost £5. Bear in mind you only have to complete an offer once, the most you will ever need to spend is either nothing or between £5-10.

3 - Do I need a credit/debit card?
Other than the credit card applications you will need a credit or debit card for most offers including the Lovefilm free offer. If you don't have a credit card or debit card don't worry. You can still get slightly smaller free gifts by signing up to a points-based freebie site by clicking here. You don't need to complete an offer and you don't need a credit/debit card.

4 - What are the best offers?
Corals and Galabingo, while costing £5 represent excellent value for money as you generally complete the offer quickly plus you can win a lot of money and have a lot of fun while doing it! 'Lovefilm' is also highly recommended as it's a brilliant service with a great range of films to choose from. There are plenty of offers to choose from though, so make sure you select what is best for you.

5 - Can I complete an offer if I already have an account with the advertiser?
If you are planning to do the Corals offer yet already have an account with either Corals or Gala Bingo then you will not gain credit by signing up again. You are only allowed one account per site. Similarly if you have already completed the Lovefilm trial offer you will not be able to do so again.

6 - I completed an offer but it hasn't credited. What can I do?
Make sure you really have completed your offer. If, for example, you are required to wager £5 then ensure you have wagered the full amount. If you have signed up to Lovefilm ensure that you have received a DVD and created a list of 10 films you are interested in. If you still don't receive credit from your offer we recommend you log a support ticket with the freebie site.

7 - What is a referral?
When you sign up to a freebie site you are given your own unique URL which you use to direct people to the site. Every person you send to the freebie site who signs up and completes an offer becomes a 'referral'. Depending on your chosen gift you need 'x' number of referrals before they will send you your gift.

8 - Can I refer my housemates/family?
You can refer whoever you like as long as they:-
a) Do not have the same postal address as you
b) Do not have the same ip address as you
c) Do not already have an account with the freebie site

9 - Can I check how many referrals I have?
There are several places on the freebie site to check how many referrals you have. Usually on the front page it will give you a statistic such as 11/15 (You have 11 referrals of 15 required) and then when you click on 'refer friends' you will be able to scroll down and see a list of all the people who you have referred so far. Normally a colour-coded icon will give you your referrals status (eg, pending, completed or no offer completed).

10 - I've referred friends but they are yellow. What does that mean?
This generally means that your referral is yet to successfully complete their offer. By all means feel free to send them an email to encourage them to do so. Alternatively, your referral may have completed an offer but it could have 'mistracked' in which case your referral will need to request assistance by logging a support ticket.

11 - Can't I just refer myself?
You are strictly prohibited from holding more than one account on the same freebie site. If you attempt to refer yourself your account will be automatically put on hold. Don't try - it's not worth the risk!

12 - Will I get spam as a result to signing up for this sheme?
No, not at all. Freebie sites do not give your information to anyone and you will not receive any spam as a result of signing up.
